Our work lies at the confluence of Electrochemical Engineering and Materials Science. We have well equipped laboratories in Brauer Hall, home of the EECE department at WUSTL. Our research is funded by the National Science Foundation , Office of Naval Research, and the US Department of Energy. Details of each research project and copies of resultant publications and presentations are available.
We work in conjunction with partners in academia, industry and government laboratories. These partnerships enrich our efforts and allow us to leverage research facilities. We are also actively involved in education and outreach at several levels, ranging from lecture-demonstrations for K-12 students to an annual fuel cell short-course.
The group currently has one Postdoctoral Fellow, five Ph.D. students, three M.S. student, and one undergradaute student. We typically have openings each year for motivated high school (summer), undergraduate and graduate students, and post-doctoral research associates. Please contact Vijay Ramani regarding open positions.
