a) Designed and conducted two week-long workshops on electrochemistry and electrochemical methods at the North West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa in March 2010 and April 2011. These workshops, comprising both theory and lab modules, was conducted at the request of research collaborator Prof. R. J. (Cobus) Kriek at the Dept. of Chemistry at NWU and benefitted undergraduate and post-graduate students.
b) Lectured at a daylong workshop on fuel cell technology conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, in December 2012. This workshop was targeted at the local industry sector.
c) PresentedaweeklongseriesoflecturesonfuelcellsattheDepartmentofChemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, in July 2013. These lectures were attended by undergraduate and graduate students and introduced them to fuel cell technology.
d) Co-designed and co-presented (with Dr. R. J. Kriek) a weeklong course in Electrochemistry (CHEM 626) at North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa in August 2013. This course served as an advanced elective for undergraduate honors students.
e) Presented a series of lectures on fuel cells and other electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies to undergraduate and graduate students at Tsinghua University, Dalian University of Chemical Physics, and engineers at Sunrise Power, Dalian, in September –December 2013.
